World Cup Winner Signs Five-Year Deal
Liverpool have completed the signing of midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion on a five-year deal.
The 24-year-old joins the Reds after helping Argentina win the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he played a key role in the team's success.
Mac Allister, who is primarily a central midfielder, can also play on the left of midfield and as an attacking midfielder. He has made over 100 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists.
His arrival bolsters Liverpool's midfield options, which have been depleted by injuries to Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho.
